June 18, 2017: A training programe for Young Christian Students (YCS) was organized on 18th June 2017 at Infant Mary Church Bajjodi from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Rev. Fr. Ronald Veigas, Youth Director of Shimoga Diocese, was the resource person. Parish Priest Fr. Shabas Crasta introduced the resource person.
Fr. Ronald Veigas in his talk introduced the origin and the need of YCS in the church for the students of 1st and 2nd PUC. The speaker also made known to the members about the change they can make in themselves to bring a change in the society. The 2 hour session was made more enthusiastic and lively with action songs conducted by YCS National representatives Master Roshan, Vamanjoor and Ms. Jesvita, Angelore. They also shared their experiences of their journey in YCS and the change that YCS has brought in them. Ms. Rishel proposed the vote of thanks. The training session concluded with prayer and refreshments. 21 YCS members took an active part in the programe.
