June 18, 2017: ICYM Bajjodi organized a half day "Training & Orientation Programme" on 18th June 2017 at the Infant Mary Church hall for all the parish ICYM members. Shimoga Diocesan Youth Director Rev Fr. Ronald Veigas was the resource person.
The programe began with a hymn by ICYM members. Youth President Jewel Fernandes welcomed the gathering. The programe was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The Youth Spiritual Director Fr. Ivan D’souza Introduced the resource person. Parish Priest Fr. Shabas Crasta, in his inaugural speech said that youth need training in order to walk in the right direction and to achieve the goal. Youth Animator Mr. Kiran Crasta was also present.
The various topics dealt in this leadership training programme were
1) “Know your I.C.Y.M 2) Who am I ?
The sessions were conducted with PowerPoint presentations. Clerita Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. 40 ICYM members attended this training programe.
