June 18, 2017: Father's Day is a day to honour all the fathers. This was an occasion to express gratitude towards father’s for their love and support. The role of a Father in an individual’s life cannot be under-estimated. Just like the Mother, the Father too invests himself completely in the child expecting almost nothing in return.
To make this day a memorable one a short programe was organized in Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi on June 18th. In the evening the celebration began with prayer service and adoration in the Church at 6pm. The cultural programe began at 7pm. The programe began with a prayer led by Fr. Ivan D’souza. Fr. Shabas Crasta welcomed the gathering. This was followed by dance and games. Ward members performed skit and dances and entertained everyone. Group games, and spot prizes kept the dads and the gathering entertained. Apt messages for fathers were given by Fr. Shabas Crasta, Mr. kiran Crasta and Stella D’sozua. This programe was compered by Mrs. Irene Pinto. Cultural committee Coordinator Mrs. Meena Pinto coordinated the programe. Tea and Snacks were served to all.
