“ಪರಿಸರ್ ಚ್ ಆಮ್ಚೆಂ ಘರ್” (nature is our Home)– was the slogan that echoed this morning at Carmel Hill and Bajjodi. The YCS unit of Bajjodi made an attempt to back up the Papal Call to ponder upon saving nature. The encyclical of Pope Francis, ‘Laudato Si’, has urged the youth of YCS to go to the streets and become the heralds of the good news that Nature is our Home. 

17 of YCS youth, under the able guidance of Br. Macson OCD, Jonita Rasqiunha, and Sr. Lydwin performed a street play at Carmel hill after the 7.30 mass and at Bajjodi after 9.15 mass. the issues highlighted were saving Water, saving Trees, purifying Air etc. Lot many people appreciated the initiative taken by YCS Unit and expressed to have many more such message oriented progammes.
