Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi organized a Training Session for all its PPC members on 12th February 2023 in the Parish hall. The purpose of this session was to enlighten members of the different ways that could help in building an active and participatory Parish Body. Fr. Joachim Fernandes, the Director of SCCs for Mangalore Diocese was the Resource person.

Parish Priest Fr Ivan D'souza welcomed Fr. Joachim Fernandes and invoked God’s blessings. Vice president Mr. Prakash Saldanha introduced Fr. Joachim Fernandes to the gathering and Fr. Ivan D'souza presented him with a bouquet of flowers. This session highlighted the responsibility of the PPC members. It emphasized on how to work in collaboration with the Parish team and SCC, keeping Jesus as our role model. Fr. Joachim Fernandes explained in detail on the working of the Church and its leaders under various organizations through a Powerpoint Presentation and cleared all doubts of the members. At the end Parish Council Secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Pereira proposed the Vote of Thanks. 28 members attended the Training Session.
