Rev Fr Melwyn D’Cunha known as the SCULPTOR OF BAJJODI was bid farewell by the parishioners on 24/05/2015 at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi, Mangalore.
A thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Rev Fr Melwyn D’Cunha in the church along with Rev Fr. Jossy Cyril, the new parish priest Rev Fr Shabas Crasta, Rev Fr Deepu Fernandes and Rev Fr Elias D’Souza.
The farewell programme was carried in the church after the celebration of Holy Eucharistic celebration. Rev Fr Joe Tauro (Superior of St. Joseph Monastery) was the President. The dignitary on the dais were Rev Fr Melwyn D’Cunha, Rev Fr. Jossy Cyril (new asst parish priest), Rev Fr Shabas Crasta (the new parish priest), Rev Fr Deepu Fernandes, Mr. Keshava (local Corporator), Mr. Joseph Mascarehnas (vice president) and Smt. Irene Pinto (secretary).

Rev Fr Deepu Fernandes was bid farewell by honoring him with a memento. Rev Fr Melwyn D’Cunha was bid farewell by honoring him with shawl n fruits along with a memento and good wishes by all the dignitaries.
Rev Fr Melwyn D’Cunha expressed his feelings and rendered thanks to all the parishioners.
Mrs. Zeena (Gurkar, Infant Jesus Ward) thanked the gathering with a vote of thanks.
Mr. Aloysius D’Souza was the master of the ceremony. The families in the parish wished him the best for his further endeavors.
