June 4, 2017: Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi organized a half day training session to all the members of the PPC on June 4th, 2017 in the Parish hall.
The purpose of this is to enlighten the PPC members in building up a participatory church. Fr Walter D’Souza, the director of SCCs for Mangalore diocese was the resource person along with William.
Parish Priest Fr Shabas Crasta delivered the inaugural message and said that PPC play a major role in making the parish very vibrant. "In this year of SCC we need to make SCCs lively through which we can grow in faith very strong". He appealed to the members to take this as a pastoral priority.
Sessions included the responsibility of the PPC members as well as taking Jesus as a role model how to work in collaboration with the Parish team and SCC. Fr. Walter and William explained in detail and cleared our doubts through power point presentations. At the end short evaluation was held. Fr. Ivan D’souza proposed the vote of thanks. 35 members were present for the session.
