Nov 25, 2018 : As part of the green day initiative of Mangalore Diocese “Laudato Si” Nature protection is my responsibility” campaign was inaugurated by Parish Priest, Fr. Ivan D’souza and Fr. Patrick Lobo in the church premises on 25th November 2018 by planting a sapling.

Fr. Ivan D’souza in his message requested the parishioners to work together to protect our common home the Earth. He added that it is the responsibility of everyone to not only plant a sapling but also to take care of the mother earth. He requested each family to plant at least one sapling every year and to join hands in the noble cause of protecting our nature. Various slogans relating to environment protection prepared by the parishioners were exhibited during the programme. This new initiate was witnessed by the parishioners in large number. Vice President Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas, Secretary, Mrs. Irene Pinto were also present.
