Bajjodi, April 14: It is on Holy Thursday that Jesus had his Last Supper with His apostles and had instituted the Sacrament of the Eucharist. So, this day commemorates the Day of the Holy Eucharist, a Day of Priesthood and a Day of love. By saying "I have come not to be served but to serve", Jesus calls us to do what He has done.. To love and serve others.

Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi celebrated the Holy Thursday meaningfully. The solemn mass was held at 6.30pm. Fr. Shabas Crasta was the Main Celebrant. The Eucharist was concelebrated by Fr. Ivan Dsouza, Fr. Patrick Lobo and Fr. Rayan Pinto. Large number of people participated in the Eucharistic celebration. Fr. Shabas Crasta broke the Word of God for the faithful. Hespoke on the Priesthood of Christ, the Supreme High Priest who once and for all offered a sacrifice of Himself for our redemption. He highlighted on the power of the Eucharist and gave a call to relive the Eucharistic mystery, to pray for priests and for vocations in the church.

After the Eucharistic celebration there was adoration till midnight in which people took active part.
